Honest numbers, before you ask
The calculator measures the great-circle distance between your airports, adds a routing and wind allowance, and works out the flight time for each class of aircraft from conservative cruise speeds and ranges. Where a class can't fly the route non-stop, a fuel stop is added.
The lower figure uses Athena's published jet card hourly rates. The upper figure allows for positioning the aircraft to you, airport and handling fees and on-demand availability. Your advisor then replaces the estimate with firm prices on real, available aircraft.

Why is a one-way flight not half the price of a return?
On a one-way charter the aircraft often has to fly empty to reach you or to get home, and that positioning time is usually priced in. A return trip or an empty leg avoids most of it, which is why empty legs can be up to 75% cheaper.
Which aircraft is right for my route?
The calculator suggests the smallest class that seats your group and flies the route non-stop. Light jets suit hops of up to around three hours, super-midsize jets cover most of Asia, and heavy or ultra-long-range jets fly intercontinental routes such as Singapore to London or Sydney without stopping.
What is included in the price?
On-demand charter quotes normally include the aircraft, crew, fuel, standard catering and landing and handling fees. Crew overnight costs, de-icing, special catering, ground transport and VAT or local taxes may be added depending on the trip. Your advisor will list everything in the full quote.
